Ashley Craig Dighton

19 year old Ashley Craig Dighton was a loving son, brother and uncle. His heartbroken father Ambrose describes Ashley as a very happy young man. Ambrose says, "Ashley could always make you laugh when you felt down".

Ashley loved to work and spend time with friends, but always made time for his family. His family were his number one priority.

Ashley was last seen on Monday June 11th when leaving a Sainsburys in Ashford, Kent. A month later on 11th July 2007 Ashley's body was discovered. A search of the scene found clothing in a plastic. Some items of clothing are still missing. Parts of Ashley's body have never been recovered.

Ashley's family are at a loss to explain his murder. They can think of no reason why such a happy-go-lucky young man would be so brutally murdered.

Since the discovery of his sons body, Ambrose has fought tirelessly to keep his sons murder in peoples minds. He pleads for anyone with any information to come forward so that he and his family can attempt to move forward with their live. At the moment all they can do is wait and hope that those responsible for Ashley's untimely death are brought to justice.

Ashley was 5ft 7in tall of slim build with blue eyes and short dark brown hair. He had two tattoos one, on his left shoulder, was of the Tweetie Pie cartoon character.
